Jurassic 5 MC Chali 2na has
been adding his impossibly deep voice to The Funk Hunters’ electronic
music for awhile now. The Canadian duo first teamed up with the talented
baritone in 2013 and has nurtured their relationship ever since.
They released their collaborative EP, ILLectric October 14 and have followed up with a new video for “Get Involved” featuring Defunk.
Filmed in 2na’s hometown of Chicago, it follows the 6’6″ MC through graffiti-laden alleyways as he encourages viewers to stand for something. Considering his background in art, he mostly likely is responsible for the handstyles in the video as well. Check it out above.
